  1. Please write down everything you were doing and report this error to the author.

  3. Use 'Save AsΓǪ' either to save on another volume, or, if you are saving on a 3.5-inch disk, eject the disk, set the write-protect tab off, and try again.

  5. If you were saving a file, use 'Save AsΓǪ' to save on another volume.

  7. If you have windows open, close a few and try again.  If you are using Multifinder, you can also increase the memory using 'Get Info' from the Finder.

  9. You may have a bad disk or a problem with your drive.  Try another disk, and if that fails, test your disk drive.

  11. Check to see if the file was incorrectly made or has been damaged.

  13. Unlock the file using 'Get Info' from the Finder, or use 'Save AsΓǪ' to save as another file.

  15. Unlock the volume using 'Get Info' from the Finder, or use 'Save AsΓǪ' to save on another volume.

  17. There may be a hardware problem with your computer, and you may need to have it repaired.

  19. Pull down 'Chooser' from the Apple menu, select a printer, and try again.
